So… “Happy 7th Birthday” to us!
It really is a truly wonderful milestone and well worth celebrating for several reasons, one of the most noteworthy being YOU – the faces that have walked and continue to walk through our doors seven years after we opened them.
It’s our patients that make it possible for us to do what we love every day and your presence in-branch remains the best gift we could ask for.
Having worked at both the Ballito and Umhlanga branches, Laura is no stranger to the Skin Renewal group and she’s fitted into our team so seamlessly that it feels like she’s been here for years, in the best possible way.
And then, another goodbye, but this one’s countered with an impending “hello!” because while our medical therapist
Kovanna is going on maternity leave in April, to take on the new role of “Mom”.
We cannot wait to find out if the bundle of joy inside her beautiful bump is a baby boy or a baby girl. And, yes, we’ve all been placing our bets!
Like Beyonce sang, “It should cost a billion to look this good!” because, WOW, all of Kayleigh’s hard work, dedication and commitment, in preparation for an upcoming Bikini Body Competition, is truly paying off.
Kayleigh, we wish you all the best with the final phase of competition prep and we’re incredibly proud of you and your impeccable work ethic.
A fitting addition to the family during the month of love, Laura adopted two new fur babies from the SPCA a couple of weeks ago. Meet Roscoe and Peggy Sue…
Both Roscoe and Peggy Sue were warmly welcomed by Laura’s long-time fur baby, Daisy the Great Dane whose maternal instincts kicked in right away.
With her wealth of knowledge in the medical aesthetic industry, we are thrilled to have the dynamic Dr Nicolette as part of our team. Being a health fanatic, she has always felt that medicine is her calling, and she has cultivated this love of medicine further by exploring the integral role that nutrition and lifestyle play in the course of a disease. “The Skin Renewal ethos of looking at one's skin as the dashboard to one's body resonated with me,” she explains, “which is why I jumped at the opportunity to join the Skin Renewal family and experience training and ongoing learning with Founder and Medical Director Dr. Maureen Allem.”
Dr Nicolette is excited to take you on your Skin Renewal journey by helping to create a plan for you that improves not only your skin but also your general well-being and self-confidence. She’s currently consulting from Skin Renewal Durban on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and, once a month, on a Saturday
