Our new Branch Manager, Jean-Marie, brings a world of experience to our world-class branch and we know that she’ll make herself at home in her new role
A mom to one-year old daughter, Ava, and a four-legged feline fur baby, Snowflake, Jean Marie's passion for travelling is matched by her love of art and favourite hobbies – cooking and baking. Having lived in Germany for four years, worked on luxury cruise liners, and studied Marketing and International Management in Holland, Jean-Marie worked in PE's hair and spa industry management before relocating to Johannesburg in 2015.
After working for a 5-star spa company as Operations Manager, she joined Skin Renewal in February 2021 as Branch Co-Leader. With a CIDESCO qualification and well-travelled practice of the skin and healthcare theory she’s learnt over the years, we love that – of all the places in the world – Jean Marie has chosen to call Skin Renewal Fourways ‘home’.
On 16 March, our remarkable women had the opportunity to explore the topic and importance – of self-promotion as part of a transformative and informative "I am remarkable" session with Michelle Bisset from Viveya. From discovering our inner brilliance to igniting our passion and transforming our lives, the time spent with Michelle was a fitting way to celebrate International Women's Day and reflect on what this year's them – #BreakTheBias – means to us.

At Skin Renewal, we pride ourselves on continual education and training. After a long hiatus, thanks to the pandemic, this year, we were once again able to hold our annual Skin Renewal Leaders's Conference and what a weekend it was! Jam-packed with self-reflection, self-awareness, goal setting and forward planning. The conference was held in Gauteng – in the modern but intimate Courtyard Hotel Midrand, where Skin Renewal Waterfall is located. MEET ANGIE
Self-described "total foodie", Angie started at Skin Renewal Fourways as a therapist in 2013, achieving Top National and Gauteng therapist in 2019. Having just returned from maternity leave herself, "boy mom" Angie will be assisting us while Lourita is on maternity leave, and she can't wait to meet you!!
Having qualified in 2012, adventure-seeker and dolphin-lover, Xoli has fallen more and more in love with our industry over the past ten years. This explains why she always arrives with a smile daily and lists building relationships with her clients as one of the favourite parts of her job.

This year’s CSI project is no different
We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Komani to help stop period poverty. Every year 10,000 girls miss school due to not having proper sanitary ware. Komani produces sustainable, washable and reusable, high-quality sanitary pads which are environmentally friendly.
All 18 Skin Renewal branches will be participating in this initiative which will, in turn, assist the beneficiaries in the three charities we support in each province. We aim to donate 1000 packs of Komani reusable sanitary pads to each charity this year. For every 100 packs we receive, we will spend time with the beneficiaries educating them on personal hygiene and how to use and maintain their sanitary pack.
Skin Renewal Fourways will be donating R14 000 to Komani as part of our branch fundraising!
