Towards the end of 2020, we had our very first virtual Awards Ceremony. Our team walked away with quite a few of the prizes, and we couldn’t be more proud of them. We are honored to have them as part of our family.
Dr Lestonn Lawn walked away with not only the Top Doctor in Gauteng award but the Top Doctor Nationally. Now you know why it is so difficult to get an appointment with him!
Dr Pierce, our Weight-Loss and Biopuncture Guru repeated his success of 2019, and grabbed the Health Coach award for not the second, but the third year in a row.
We celebrated not one, but two birthdays in May!
Therapist Ilona celebrated her birthday on 13 May, spending a relaxing weekend soaking up nature in Klein Kariba. Time in the great outdoors is good for the mind, body, and soul.
Deone celebrated her birthday the very next day! She also kept it local with a weekend away at Manaba Beach with her husband.

We are so excited to welcome Dr Helenka to our Skin Renewal Irene community.
Dr. Helenka qualified in medicine with an MBChB from Stellenbosch University and then gained experience in hospitals in Kimberley and Upington.
A child with freckles and red hair, she suffered bullying. However, her striking look caught the fashion industry’s attention, and she modeled for a period in her life. This led to an interest in medical aesthetics and the personal discovery that it’s so closely linked to self-confidence. Disciplined and diligent, she is passionate about arts, languages, and classical music. Apart from her fashion and film industry experience, Dr. Helenka is a fitness fanatic with a love for rowing and running.
She is a recipient of the Women in Leadership award (Frederik Van Zyl Slabbert Institute) and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. She has undergone extensive in-house training by the Skin Renewal training team. She has spent considerable time with Dr. Maureen Allem in both instruction and practice to learn about the intricacies of aesthetics.
Very importantly, Dr. Helenka’s professional ethos celebrates the enhancement of one’s natural beauty through aesthetics.
Our mission is to positively transform every person and space we get in touch with, and we practice what we preach! First up, is an amazing patient transformation by Dr. Helenka. She injected 8 x Juvederm Fillers (combination of Juvederm 3 and 4) and Botox on this male patient, and the results speak for themselves!
