Dr Trent has been with Skin Renewal since 2019, and joined the Parkhurst team in May this year to add a male doctor to our offering.
Dr.Trent studied at the University of Stellenbosch, completing his MBChB degree in 2015. He completed his two-year internship in Pietermaritzburg, followed by a year of community service in Kimberley. After joining Skin Renewal, Dr. Trent trained under the expert guidance of Dr. Maureen Allem and the regional training team.
He regularly attends non-surgical, anti-ageing congresses and workshops and is a member of AAMSA (The Aesthetic & Anti-Ageing Medicine Society of South Africa). He’s also highly committed to health and fitness.
To get to know Dr. Trent better here’s a fun Q&A we did with him:
Q: “What movie title best describes your life?”
A: “Limitless.”
Q: “How do you kickstart your day?”
A: “I get up and go to the gym.”
Q: “If you were stranded on a desert island, what two things would you take and why?”
A: “A knife – an important survival tool. A water purifying straw.”
Q: “What would you do if you were invisible for a day?”
A: “Go and watch live sports, seeing as we aren’t allowed to do that currently.”
Q: “What job would you be terrible at?”
A: “Anything that involves sitting at a desk all day.”
Q: “If you could meet anyone, who would it be?”
A: “Michael Schumacher. My childhood hero, and favourite Formula 1 driver to this day.”
Dr Trent Harris joined Minki van der Westhuizen on set earlier this month for the filming of the next season of Minki. We recently celebrated therapist Beverley’s birthday. We wish her an incredibly happy year ahead filled with nothing but the very best.
