My skin was starting to show its ‘use-by’ date and long past its ‘sell-by date’, I needed to update my knowledge base on lasers and skin therapy.
Years ago my dermatologist suggested laser therapy for my skin and I thought he had lost it. I had never heard of laser therapy for one’s face, and it sounded quite dangerous. In the science fiction movies, laser beams cut through everything, can destroy anything, burn things to ashes and I quite liked my face. Well, enough not to want to destroy it.

3D Skin Rejuvenation
3D Skin Rejuvenation™ treatment is the signature laser facial at Skin Renewal Clinics and is a very effective combination of skin rejuvenation treatments. The entire face and neck are treated and each procedure targets different areas that show signs of sagging and ageing.

The Cutera Xeo Titan® was nominated the best device for skin sagging a few years ago and uses a deep infra-red light to physically shrink the collagen and to stimulate additional collagen production.
The Photo Genesis (pulsed light) targets the skin discolouration on the surface, such as freckles and brown spots, improves uneven skin colour and can be used on any sun damaged areas of the body. It selectively treats the red or brown spots on the skin by heating and destroying the pigment and is also a very effective treatment to improve the redness and flushing of rosacea.
The Laser Genesis™ heats up the mid dermis and stimulates the production of collagen. This is a safe non-invasive laser that improves conditions such as ageing, sun damage, excessive redness, large pores, acne scars and wrinkles with no pain or downtime. Superficial pigmentation is eliminated by destroying the pigment within the skin cells.

In addition to these treatments, microdermabrasion is done to gently polish the skin to improve texture, whilst a radiofrequency procedure tightens sagging skin.
