Skin Renewal is passionate about transforming the lives of all South Africans. Corporate Social Investment is integral to each and every member of our organisation’s family, and the upliftment of the wider communities means pertinent issues remain paramount.
Skin Renewal seeks to partner with organisations that offer sustainable solutions to ongoing and new challenges, including breast cancer. ILoveBoobies' mission is to provide free breast examinations to South African women who are unable to access medical services due to financial, locational, or social challenges. At the same time, the organisation creates awareness and support amongst the greater public.
To help sponsor this crucial health service, all 20 Skin Renewal branches are now retail outlets for ILoveBoobies socks. Every fifth pair of socks sold ensures sufficient funds for screening and is donated to the organisation.
Teamed with Komani Girl, an organisation that addresses Period Poverty by providing women in underprivileged communities with reusable sanitary pads, Skin Renewal is furthering women’s health with more give-back. For every screening through the sale of ILoveBoobies socks, Skin Renewal supplies women with a Komani reusable sanitary pad pack.
Change can only be made through empowerment and education and these pillars stand true not only for Skin Renewal’s patients but with the aligned charities we partner with and the remarkable work they collectively do.
