Membership Terms and Conditions

Skin Renewal’s Elite Membership Programme 

Membership Benefits

Members receive exclusive benefits, including but not limited to:

  • Special discounted rates on services and products.
  • Recurring Gift vouchers for Gold and Diamond members, every continued 6 months of active membership that is maintained.
  • Birthday treatment voucher for the Member, valid for one month from their birthday.
  • Early access to new product launches, monthly promos and Black Friday specials.
  • Priority appointment bookings for Diamond members – guaranteed appointment within 7 days (excl. Saturdays).
  • Invitations to members-only events and promotions (e.g., Black Friday, product launches, and limited-stock offers).
  • Detailed benefits for each membership tier are available on the Skin Renewal website.

Membership Fees

Membership fees are debited immediately upon sign-up, with benefits becoming available within one (1) business day. Recurring debit orders are processed monthly, on the 1st of every month, with fees determined by the selected membership tier:

  • Onyx Membership: R1500 (incl. VAT) per month.
  • Gold Membership: R2500 (incl. VAT) per month.
  • Diamond Membership: R5000 (incl. VAT) per month.
  • Elixir Membership: By invitation only.
  • Fees and benefits are subject to change. Members will receive written notification at least 90 days before any changes to the Membership benefits or fees will take effect.

Payment Terms

  • Failed debit orders will automatically retry within 24 hours through the 3D Secure banking portal.
  • If unsuccessful, members may update any expired card details on the Patient Portal and request that payment be retried.
  • If payment remains unsuccessful, benefits will be suspended, but any existing credit balance will remain available to the suspended member.

Additional Terms

  • Loyalty Points: Upon joining the Elite Membership Programme, members will opt out of the Skin Renewal Loyalty Programme, and loyalty benefits will no longer apply. Existing Loyalty Points will still be available to use in-store within the relevant expiry period (365 days from accrual).
  • Gift Card Purchases: Membership payments cannot be used to purchase gift cards online or in-store.
  • Upgrading of membership tier - existing members can upgrade their membership tier at any time via email to enquiry@skinrenewal.co.za - the upgraded benefits will become active after the first debit order for the upgraded tier has been processed.
  • Downgrading of membership tier - existing members can downgrade their membership tier at any time via email to enquiry@skinrenewal.co.za - the downgraded benefits will become active after the first debit order for the downgraded tier has been processed.

Member Responsibilities

Members are required to:

  • Provide accurate personal information during registration.
  • Notify Skin Renewal promptly of any personal or contact details changes via updating their information on the Patient Portal or via email to enquiry@skinrenewal.co.za.
  • Respect the programme guidelines and maintain appropriate conduct in all interactions.

Cancellation

The Membership is recurring until cancelled in writing by either the member (via the cancellation button on the Patient Portal) or Skin Renewal, as set out below:

  • Upon cancellation, the membership credit balance will remain available for the Member to use, but all other benefits will cease.
  • No fee is charged to the Member for cancellation of the Membership and its recurring debit order.
  • Upon cancellation, the member may alternatively choose to transfer their remaining membership credit to another person of their choice or request a refund, which will be processed via direct bank transfer (EFT) to the nominated bank account of their choice within seven (7) business days.
  • If a Member who cancelled their membership wishes to rejoin in the future, the relevant rates and benefits at the time of rejoining will apply.

 Memberships can be cancelled by

  • The member, within five (5) business days (cooling off period) of subscribing to the Membership, without any penalties.
  • The member, by giving one month's notice after the initial cooling off period to enquiry@skinrenewal.co.za or by selecting the cancellation option on the Patient Portal.
  • Skin Renewal in cases of non-payment or repeated no-shows for appointments

Temporary suspension (deactivation for up to 6 months) of the Membership

  • Members may request a temporary suspension of their debit order by giving 1 month’ written (email) notice to enquiry@skinrenewal.co.za.
  • The recurring debit order can be paused for up to 6 months, with the relevant benefits suspended for the same period, without any additional penalty fees being incurred.
  • Members may request that their debit order be reinstated and membership benefits reactivated via the Patient Portal or via email to enquiry@skinrenewal.co.za.

Data Protection

  • Skin Renewal will not sell or rent personal information, financial information or any details relating to the Member to third parties without the explicit written consent of the Member.
  • Member data is stored securely and handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws, financial laws, the POPIA, and the CPA.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with South African law.
